SOUL-LESS

I am so tired of those who post personal things on social media and then are shocked when another posts their opinion on it. I'm tired of those attention seekers who crave those comments - negative or otherwise to validate their own self worth. I'm so tired of this "selfie nation" where, again, people post so many pictures of themselves for attention. I believe the Native Americans were right - photographs steal the soul.

Nobody's perfect....

Documented Life Project

I am participating in the documented life project on the Art to the 5th's site. This project is by far the coolest thing I have joined in a long time. Many fabulous artists are featured and give their spin on the journal prompt that is posted once a week - on Saturday mornings. I have learned so much and have become hooked on a couple new favorite artists (Rae Missigman and Roben-Marie Smith). I will be posting some of my favorite pages throughout the year. If you want more info on the DLP, go to www.arttothe5th.com. Enjoy and create something!

New Find

Love this book! So many great artists and their pieces of "heart" art!

Finally Friday!

At the end of another work week. It has certainly been a long one. This is my first post so I'm just gonna jump right in. Had an AMAZING weekend in San Marcos last weekend! We went to see Todd Snider but went to a few other places as well. As always we went to Half Priced Books. Found some really cool books. Also went to Superfly's - a very hip record store. Ended the weekend with lunch in Luckenbach on the way home. Sigh.....can't wait for the next trip! I love you Henry!
